Part 5 of: To Judge or Not To Judge

PART FIVE:

For this fifth section of the lesson, we will look at more scriptural evidence that clearly states that we can judge, we should judge, but we must judge righteously. Starting Leviticus 19:15 ‘You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly. Deuteronomy 1:16 “Then I charged your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your fellow countrymen, and judge righteously between a man and his fellow countryman, or the alien who is with him. Deuteronomy 16:18 “You shall appoint for yourself judges and officers in all your towns which the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. John 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” Luke 12:57 “And why do you not even on your own initiative judge what is right? John 7:51 “Our Law does not judge a man unless it first hears from him and knows what he is doing, does it?” Zechariah 8:16 These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates.

The preceding verses are crystal clear as to the fact that according to the Most-High God we can and must just righteously. If one still is under the misunderstanding that we cannot judge after just reading these seven verses instructing us as to appointing judges and just everyday judgement situations, please understand that this lesson is structured in the order by which the Most-High God commanded us on how to teach and learn the scriptures. Isaiah 28: 9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Scripture explains scripture when it is taught precept upon precept. A precept is a truth that can be followed throughout the bible and the truth is we are instructed to judge.

Are you judging the author yet?
