Part 8 “Holidays…Are They Biblical Or Not”
As far as Christmas is concerned it does not have biblical roots and is full of traditions of men and not of Christ. Therefore, by no means should we as Christians ever even consider celebrating Christmas, because it is clearly full of lies, pagan rituals, torture and murder. Most importantly Christmas promotes the praising and worshiping of false gods. Exodus 20: 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Could the following be a direct result of adopting pagan practices into Christianity? This is what’s taking place in England today. Maybe if we stop trying to select who come or stay in the church and let God supply the increase this would not be a problem at all. Compromise is not an option when dealing with God’s word. A YouGov poll in Britain shows that at least 38% of young adults do not believe in the Christian God and are becoming more and more attracted to several forms of Paganism. As a result, the Church of England announced a proposal on July 12, 2013 that states that they would like to create a “Pagan church” that has mainly Christian content. Is that not an oxymoron “Pagan Church”? That’s like having a 6’9” midget, impossible is it not. The Church of England hopes that in starting a Pagan Church that they may keep some of the 38% from becoming Pagan. How do you have a Pagan Church, but stop the people from becoming Pagan? Hints the term Pagan, that’s the very reason they are there to do whatever is done in a Pagan Church. It’s not clear why the Church of England feels that Paganism is such a huge threat to them, aside from the fact that Paganism was once the primary religion of the region before Christianity (Denise Oliver Velez). Sound like a return to their roots.
Census data that was released recently shows that Paganism is now the seventh largest religion in the United Kingdom. More surprising to the Church of England is that the number of Pagans in the United Kingdom has doubled since 2001 (Denise Oliver Velez). Do we really understand these two verses? Deut. 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you (KJV). Rev.22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Apparently not!
