Steven D. Agent Biography
Steven D. Agent is the second of 6 children born to Elwood and Helen Agent. He is a scripturalist and not a traditionalist, which means he firmly believes in preaching and teaching the unadulterated word of God as it is written.
Steven has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church since 1994, where he served on the Deacon board, taught the Young Men’s Fellowship classes, and served on the Family Care Ministry. He and a friend started a telecommunication business in 1994 as well. It grew exponentially, whereas they hired over 30 employees with felony records who could not find employment elsewhere. The employees were taught many skills such as, telephone, cable tv and network cabling installations along with how to operate heavy machinery. He also coached little league baseball, football, and basketball for several years.
Steven was called by the Lord our God to preach and teach the Word of God in 1998. After many years of wrestling with God, Steven knew that God lead him to lead His people by way of preaching and teaching His word, therefore he decided to go to seminary. As of December, 2017, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Faith Theological Seminary and earned a Masters of Divinity in May 2021; where he was also the elected President of the Student council from 2018-2020.
Steven Agent and his lovely wife, Shedana Agent, were joined in holy matrimony on April 16, 1994. Mrs. Agent attended Sojourner Douglass College where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Growth and Development (Psychology Counseling). She completed her Master’s degree in December, 2017, in Master of Education and School Counseling.
Steven and Shedana Agent have 3 beautiful children: Tanisha Agent, Denzell Agent, and Diamonique Agent. In addition, they adopted 2 lovely children Daron Burrell and Naisha Agent. Also, they have been blessed with 5 wonderful grandchildren.
